Job description:

J N Drywall Ltd. is looking for 3 full-time “Siding Installers” to join our team. Our goal is to provide exceptional and reliable construction services to our clients.

Position Details:

Position: Siding Installer

Number of positions: 3

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time                                                   

Salary: $28.00 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Abbotsford, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients. 

Job duties:

• Read blueprints or work order specifications.
• Determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure, and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms.
• Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
• Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
• Cut and trim materials to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw.

 Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in a similar field is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.

• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 for qualified candidates.
