Job Requirements:
Language: English (not mandatory for native Punjabi/Hindi speakers)
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Will train
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (NOT a condition of employment), Work in employer's/client's home, Relocation costs are covered by the employer, Willing to relocate, Private residence.
Responsibilities
Tasks:
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Mend clothing and linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
- Clean changing rooms and showers
Additional information
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
