Job description:

Salary: – CAD $22 to CAD $26 per hour / Full Time 

Total No of Positions: - 5 

Education: - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: - 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Setting: - 

• Home care and visiting care agency.
• Rural area
• Urban area
• Various locations
• Hospital or home for the aged
• Hospital/medical facility or clinic
• Nursing home/home for the aged
• Public or community health centre
• Rehabilitation centre and special health institution
• Group home

Tasks: - 

• Supply and empty bed pans
• Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
• Serve meal trays and feed patients.
• Weigh, lift, turn and position patients.
• Make beds and maintain patients' rooms.
• Supervise patients' exercise routines.
• Bathe, dress and groom patients
• Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
• Collect specimens.
• Accompany patients on outside recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• Administer first aid in emergency situations.

Certificates / licences: - First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate

Security and safety: - Criminal record check
