LSL TRADING & SERVICES LIMITED (Corporate Office address: Unit 204, 13049 76 Avenue, Surrey British Columbia, Canada, V3W 2V7) is looking for Senior Manager: Construction.
The company has an opening for the Senior Manager position, which will be responsible for the overall operations and profitability of the company. The main goal is to maximize the organization’s efficiency, productivity, and performance by making sure that all operations run smoothly.
We specialize in all kinds of construction services. We build commercial and residential building from scratch to end. Additionally, we provide renovation, modifications to existing buildings. Creativity, excellence and timely completion of construction projects are & will be our signature.
The main job responsibilities are:
- Planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all business activities, ensuring they meet the organization’s goals, objectives, and regulations.
- Developing, implementing, coordinating, reviewing, evaluating, and improving business procedures and policies, as well as organizational activities and initiatives:
- Formulating, approving, and implementing organizational policies, programs, and other internal campaigns;
- determining how resources should be distributed, ensuring the right amount of work is assigned to the right number of people within the right department(s); and
- Providing directions and explanations, delegating authority as required.
- Overseeing the activities of all major departments, authorizing and organizing the establishment of departments and associated positions:
- Selecting managers and other executive staff;
- setting guidelines and standards for personnel evaluations, recruitment, and advancement;
- Building relationships with both internal and external parties:
- Communicating, motivating, and inspiring middle managers;
- gaining influence, trust, and credibility within the organization to build and help foster collaborative work relationships;
- liaising with external companies and other third parties; and
- representing the organization, or delegating representatives to act on their behalf, in negotiations, networking events, Public Relations activities, or other official functions.
Employment Details:
- Position: Senior Manager (Construction)
- Wage & hours: $55.20/hour & minimum 30 hours/week
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance or other discipline related to the service provided
OR
Several years (3 to 4 years) of work experience is required.
