Nestled in the vibrant heart of Coal Harbour, THE Salon Beauty Bar is a bustling downtown nail salon looking to hire two experienced Nail Care Technicians.

Position: Nail Care Technician

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Position Available: 2

Working Location: 505 Thurlow Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 4J6

Wage: $18.50 ~ $22.00 per hour

Working Hours: 30~40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Interact with clients and discuss expectations before providing nail service.
• Push back cuticles, trim and shape nails, and apply the client's desired polish.
• Prepare the client's nails by removing old extensions or polish, cleaning and softening the cuticles, treating the skin around the nails, and filing the edge and surface of the nails.
• Apply nail extensions by using acrylic, gel, fiberglass, or silk wraps.
• Determine clients’ nail health and promote beneficial treatments.
• Recommend various nail designs and nail art to clients.
• Ensure that the workstation is sanitized and organized before every new client.
• Offer complimentary hand and foot massages.

Requirements:

• Language: English
• Completion of Secondary School
• Minimum 6 months of experience in nail care field
• Must be available to work at least one day on weekends.
