Position Overview 

The Store Retail Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the sales and service activities of the assigned store. This includes managing and supervising a team of sales associates, implementing sales strategies to increase profits, and providing excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, a retail sales supervisor should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to multitask and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. They should also be knowledgeable about the services and products offered by the store and be able to provide information to customers to assist them with their needs.

Salary: $22.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities 

  • Supervise and oversee the shift activities including sales and service and ensure the automotive service technicians are following the established guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them meet their sales and service targets.
  • Ensure all equipment on site is well maintained and functioning and report any malfunctioning equipment to management.
  • Monitor automotive service technicians’ productivity and report work hours for payroll.
  • Monitor and follow up on ordering of automotive parts and supplies as required.
  • Interact and establish relationships with customers and make recommendations for service and products.
  • Handle customer complaints and offer solutions to customers.
  • Review work orders, monitor and inspect work of automotive service technicians ensuring quality and service standards met (i.e., ensuring all customers are greeted within set timelines, ensuring customers are given fair estimates on costs and time required for service)
  • Understand and ensure proper health and safety regulations are maintained and followed.
  • Track and maintain records of sales and inventory.
  • Assist management with the hiring and training of new team members.
  • Attends company meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements 

  • Completion of Secondary School.
  • Demonstrated experience in similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities.
