• Salary: $16.50/ hour

• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours/week
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Employment conditions: Overtime, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience of preparing popular Indian cuisine items in a commercial kitchen.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines

Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Excellent oral communication, Judgement, Reliability, Team player

Supervision: 1-2 people

Work Setting: Large volume bakery, Relocation costs covered by employer

SPECIFIC SKILLS

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders,
• Bake mixed dough and batters,
• Prepare special orders,
• Draw up production schedules,
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards,
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas,
• Operate machinery
