Job Title: Construction Worker (NOC 75110)

Work Location: Various locations across Lower Mainland, British Columbia

Language: English

Education: Not required, high school education is an asset.  

Wage Rate: $33.80/hr

Experience:  Minimum 2 years of experience is required. On-site Job Training will be provided.

Job Duties:

• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms
• Place and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and assist in other activities
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:

• Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
• Physically demanding
• Outdoors
• Loud/noisy environment
