About us：

Peking Dim Sum Plus is a wholesale and retail restaurant specializing in semi-finished ingredients such as buns, dumplings, siu mai, and shrimp dumplings, located near Princess Ave and Hastings St E in Vancouver.

We are now looking for a qualified Butcher Assistant to join our team.  

Position: Butcher Assistant

Wage: C$24.00/hour

Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary.

Working Hours: 8 hours/day & 40 hours/week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Location: 588 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, V6A 1P8

Responsibilities:

Packaging, weighing, and labeling meat products for display or sale.

Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming meat shipments.

Cleaning and maintaining equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.

Operating meat processing machinery such as slicers, grinders, and saws under the guidance of the butcher.

Qualifications:

Language: English.

Education: not required.

Relevant work experience is preferred.
