Magellan Coatings Ltd. is looking for skillful painters in Squamish, BC!

Position: Painter (Permanent / Full-time)

Position available: 2

Compensation: $26.00 ~ $28.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Working hours: 30~40 hours per week

Work Location:

• Company Location: 40347 Kintyre Drive, Garibaldi Highlands, BC V0N1T0
• Various work locations in BC

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.
• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures, scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
• Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner.

Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of painter experience is required.
• Must be available weight handling up to 23kg(50lbs)
