Job description:

1250641 B.C. LTD. Operating as Mr. Brar railings Ltd. is looking for 1 Carpenter. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. Our company is located at 20289 Ditton St Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

The Job Duties for this position will be:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

• Fit and install trim items

• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

• Supervise other construction workers

• Prepare cost estimates for clients.

Job Requirements:

• English is required as a language

• Minimum one year of experience in similar field is required

What we offer:

• $30 per hour

• 4% vacation pay
