Home Support Worker

Location: Brampton, ON L6T 1T1

Salary: $19.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Schedule: Monday to Friday / Flexible Hours, Shift

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

- Offer support, companionship, and emotional support.
- Assist with tasks including walking, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Undertake basic healthcare tasks like changing dressings, helping with medication, and gathering specimens, under the guidance of a home care agency supervisor or nurse.
- Handle general household chores such as laundry, dishwashing, and bed-making as needed.
