Job Responsibilities              

  • Overseeing the daily operations of ensuring products consistently meet high standards of quality and flavor.
  • Implementing and adhering to operational guidelines and procedures to maintain consistency across our brand.
  • Addressing any maintenance or repair needs promptly during the workday, regularly checking kitchen equipment functionality, and coordinating with maintenance teams or vendors as required.
  • Assisting in coaching and motivating team members to foster a productive and positive work environment that aligns with our company's ethos.
  • Managing the onboarding and comprehensive training of new employees, ensuring they are well-versed in our culinary techniques and customer service standards.
  • Creating, reviewing, and adjusting staff schedules, while managing attendance and punctuality to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Conducting performance reviews with team members, acknowledging their work, and providing constructive feedback to align with our quality standards.
  • Maintaining a harmonious work environment by effectively resolving team disputes and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Upholding our commitment to superior customer service by responding swiftly and professionally to customer feedback.
  • Promoting in-store offers, keeping the team updated on current promotions, and encouraging upselling.
  • Managing ingredient and material orders, overseeing inventory levels, and tracking stock, sales, and waste to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards to provide a safe and secure dining and working environment.
  • Maintaining compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations, including health inspections and labor laws, to uphold the company's reputation and standards.
  • Develop innovative strategies to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and boost sales, and communicate them to management.

 

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a college program in food service administration, or hotel and restaurant management or 1 -2 years of experience in the food service sector.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • To be driven and not afraid to take decisive action.
  • Excellent supervisory skills and a strong understanding of customer service.
  • Ability to manage a team to achieve common goals.
  • Highly organized and efficient, working well under pressure.
