1305026 BC Ltd. Dba Canco Mission is a retail store located in Mission, BC. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Store Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate should have demonstrated sales experience within a retail setting, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. They will also be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks concurrently.

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Salary: $23.00 per hour

Number of Positions: 2

As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible to

  • Supervise team members and assign duties for stocking, cleaning, labeling, displaying items etc.
  • Handle complaints and ensure that customers have a positive experience.
  • Oversee store's budget, prepare reports, track sales and expenses, and reconcile cash register.
  • Prepare inventory orders by determining the stocks and order merchandise.
  • Make sure the store is clean, well-organized, and the merchandise is displayed appealingly.
  • Assist in authorizing payments and the return of merchandise.
  • Establish a positive work environment by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Make sure the store complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety laws.
  • Training new staff members.
  • Perform other key holding duties as required.

 

The successful candidate will have

  • Completion of Secondary School
  • Demonstrated retail sales experience and supervisory experience would be an asset but not mandatory.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve common goals.
