Job description:

Lejan Land Surveying Inc. located at 572, Barton Street, Stoney Creek, ON is looking for a Land Survey Technician to join their team as soon as possible.

Salary CAD $30.00/hr Full Time and Permanent

Skills:

College Diploma or University Degree in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering or a related field

Language: English

Experience: 2 or more years

Duties:

• Develops methods and procedures for conducting field surveys with Survey engineers or Professional surveyors
• Conduct physical site surveys using a variety of equipment and tools.
• Record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities
• Prepare detailed drawings, charts and plans and survey notes and reports.
• Keep records, measurements, and other survey information in systematic order.
• Supervise & coordinate field staff and process field data.
• Conducts & provides calculation, analysis and computation of measurements obtained during field surveys
• Prepares or supervises the preparation and compilation of all data and documents related to surveys of real property boundaries
• Plan, direct and supervise or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties
• Analyze, manage and display data using geographic information systems and computer-aided design and drafting Computer and technology knowledge
• Liaise with clients regarding plan details and any other project related information
• Maintain accurate records, time-sheets, and other files pertaining to the job
• Other duties as assigned
