Job description:

Mann Machines and Hydraulics Ltd. located at 245 Advance Blvd. Brampton, ON, L6T 4J2, requires 5 Machinists on a Permanent and full-time basis. Wage: $ 27.50 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Must have 1 year to less than 2 years’ experience as a Machinist. Additionally, 10 paid vacations and 10 sick leaves will be provided.

JOB DUTIES:

• Reading & interpreting of engineering drawings & blueprints.
• Finalize   the best sequence of machining as per the requirements of the work order.
• Precisely work out / observe dimensions and tolerances; measure and lay out work pieces.
• Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, planning, drilling, precision grinding and other operations.
• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and sub-assemblies.
• Check products for dimensional accuracy within specified tolerances and conformance to specifications with the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Train new recruits, if any.
• All other related tasks as may be required on the shop floor.
