Restaurant Manager

Taiwan Restaurant is a distinguished restaurant with commitment to high standards and outstanding service, invites passionate individuals to join our team in delivering an authentic and delightful Chinese culinary experience. We are seeking a full-time permanent experienced restaurant manager to join our team. The work location is at 15 High Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant, including inventory, sales, procedures and prices
Offer outstanding services and implement operational procedures
Recruit and coach staff
Supervising and directing staff’ work schedule and performance in daily activities
Resolve customer complaints
Ensure service quality and comply with government’s health and safety regulations
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities
Skills & Qualification:
Completion of a community college program in hospitality or food and beverage service management or a related field
1 years’ experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
Excellent management of financial and material resources
Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Attention to detail, leadership, client-oriented, multi-tasking
Basic computer skills
Proficient in English
Fluent in a second language will be an asset
Job Type:
Full time, Permanent
Compensation:
The wage for this position is $21.00 per hour
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
10 days of vacation yearly or 4% of annual remuneration
