Instant Insulation Ltd.  is a construction company located at 131 street, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. We are currently looking for an insulator to join our growing team.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Wage Rate and hours: $29.50 per hour, 40 hours per week

Start date: as soon as possible.

Job Location: Various locations across Lower Mainland area in British Columbia

Language: English

Education: No education is required.

Experience: 1 to less than 2 years of related experience is required. Candidates without any experience who have completed related apprenticeship can be considered as well.

Job duties:

• Measure and cut insulation materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Attend safety meetings.
• Ensure propre storage of construction materials at the end of each shift.
• Perform job as per city codes and project requirements.
• determine insulation requirements and select type of insulation required as per city code and project requirements.
• Seal windows, doors using rod and caulk.
• Identify type of insulation required by local building codes.
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between studs and joists
• Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials
• Load Necessary materials into company vehicles.
• Install vapour barriers and fire stop materials.
