Job Responsibilities

• Cut and shape insulation materials according to the Insulation Installer's specifications using knives, scissors, or saws
• Assist in the installation of insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, and mechanical systems, and work closely with Insulation Insulators to ensure proper alignment.
• Assist in brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials when necessary.
• Assist in transporting insulation materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites.
• Prepare the work site by cleaning and removing debris to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Remove old or damaged insulation materials safely, following the disposal guidelines provided by Insulation Insulators.
• Assist in covering insulation with protective materials such as canvas, plastic, or sealants to secure and protect it.
• Ensure construction site safety by adhering to all regulations and participating in safety training.
• Support Insulation Insulators in the maintenance and repair of insulation within a construction setting, following industry standards.
• Follow local environmental regulations and building codes in handling and installing insulation materials.
• Perform other related tasks as directed by Insulation Insulators to support construction projects' needs.

Job Requirements

• No experience required: We offer on-the-job training. Openness to learning is key.
• Functional English proficiency: Good English communication skills are a must. You will need to interact with the team and follow instructions.
• Positive and cooperative attitude: We seek enthusiastic and cooperative individuals. A positive attitude is vital.
• Willingness to travel to different locations in Lower Mainland in BC: You must be comfortable traveling within the Lower Mainland. Transportation is provided by the company.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: The job involves handling heavy materials and working in tight spaces, sometimes at heights. Physical fitness is required.
• Team player: Collaboration with colleagues is essential. Being a team player is crucial.
• Punctuality and reliability: Being timely and dependable is vital for this role. Consistent attendance and performance are expected.
