Mileage Paid on Practical not Shortest

Company Driver Requirements:  
Class 1 License W/Air break Endorsement is required.

Completion of secondary school is an asset.

Language: Functional English/CLB Level 4 (Canadian Language Bench Mark Level 4 is required as per ICBC requirement)

Though on on-the-job training will be provided, 1-2 years of experience as a truck driver is an asset.

Duties:

 Driving the vehicle is the main responsibility of the truck driver.

·         Drivers must maintain a logbook of their driving activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations governing the rest and work periods for operators.

·         Drivers must keep a record of vehicle inspections and make sure the truck is equipped with safety equipment, such as hazardous material placards.

·         Drivers may have to plan their route according to a delivery schedule.
