As part of the front-line staff this position is responsible for ensuring that all customers are provided with top-notch customer service, consultation and explanation of required automotive services as well as sales and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Counter
Customer Service – ensure that all customers are greeted and welcomed to our shop, offering assistance and information when/if required. Handle any customer complaints and disputes in a professional manner.
Front Area – responsible for visual presentation of the front showroom area, making sure that current product is displayed and necessary cleaning/dusting of items.
Pricing/Quotations – responsible for handling sales, providing competitive quotes on work, negotiating, writing up invoices.
Scheduling – coordinate all scheduling of mechanical work and repairs.
Communicate with Technicians.
Invoicing – responsible for ensuring that all invoicing is accounted for and appropriate monies have been collected/processed.
Cash – handle all payment related transactions and ensure that till balances at day end.
General
Service Advisors serve as the liaison between customers and the Auto Technicians.
They perform general office duties, receive complaint logs, sell merchandise, explain the work performed and associated costs to customers.
Full-time position, 8 hours a day with 1 hour unpaid break/lunch.

Employees must wear appropriate shirt/slacks (shirt/sweater provided) and ensure they are in a presentable condition (i.e. clean).

Skills/Qualifications Required:
2-3 years of automotive experience specifically relating to tire sales experience, job costing, sales, invoicing, scheduling, upselling of products & services.
Explaining repairs to customers, making product suggestions and recommendations as needed.
COSTAR experience an asset, intermediate level computer skills presumed.
Preference given to those candidates who have previous mechanical/tire experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate confidently.
Highly organized, attentive to details and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing high-volume environment.
Able to take direction and complete tasks as assigned.
Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities on a daily basis.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physically capable of lifting and moving items up to +50 lbs when required.
Must be available to work full time, 5 days a week + overtime when required.
