Position: Dump Truck Driver

Description and Duties:

Surrey based trucking company looking for Dump Truck Drivers for the following duties:

-        Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks

-        Load and unload goods

-        Record cargo information

-        Log hours, travel distance and fuel consumption via logbook

-        Oversee condition of vehicle, inspect tires, lights, breaks

-        Perform routine pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection of vehicle

-        Pre-plan route for efficiency

-        Keep dispatcher informed and advised of any delays for shipment

-        Ensure safety of cargo

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent

Shift: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning,

# of Positions: 10

Wage: $27.50/hr for 50 hr/week

Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Location of Work: All over Canada towards northern BC, Vancouver to Princeton, William lake

Employment Requirements:

·        Completion of Secondary School is required.

·        No Experience required, will train. Any previous related experience would be an asset.

·        Basic knowledge of English Language

·        Must have class 1, A or equivalent driving license or Able to obtain one.

·        Air Brake (Z) Endorsement required
